About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Head of Anti-Money Laundering to establish and lead its compliance function. The CCO will be tasked with ensuring the organization's adherence to regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of compliance and ethics. This role is pivotal in driving the evolution of the compliance program and requires a business-savvy, experienced, and solutions-oriented leader. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in securities compliance, with a preference for those who have worked with SEC-registered investment advisors. Experience with the U.S. Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and a background in start-ups, particularly with an interest or knowledge of crypto, blockchain, or fintech, is highly valued. Applicants for the CCO position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree or higher and be prepared to take on the challenge of building and overseeing a robust compliance function. The role demands a professional who can not only ensure regulatory compliance but also foster a culture of integrity and ethical conduct within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in securities compliance, with a focus on the specific needs of registered investment advisers, and be adept at navigating the complexities of the financial and technological landscape. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and innovative environment, and the company is open to remote work for qualified candidates across the United States.
