Job Duties:

•Responsible for cash reporting and reconciliation of cash related items to the GL.
•Assist in the daily and monthly reporting requirements related to the AR facility.
•Responsible for booking revenue and related journal entries for month end close for all sports networks.
•Prepare monthly close adjustments including, but not limited to, balance sheet reclassifications and revenue recognition.
•Prepare adjusting entries in a timely manner.
•Interact directly with Finance group to obtain proposed journal entries, resolve unusual items or discrepancies/reclassifications.
•Prepare monthly variance analysis which will be provided to management.
•Reconcile rights payments
•Responsible for the preparation of bank reconciliations and the investigation and clearing of reconciling items.
•Active role in implementing process improvements and internal controls testing to ensure compliance with Company policy and SOX.
•Assist with internal and external audit requests.
•Ensure completion of quarterly reporting schedules
•Prepare monthly cash flows in a timely manner ensuring all deadlines are met.
•Responsible for ad hoc reporting, analysis and/or other projects as needed.

Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Excel Formulas, Accounting close process. Workday is a huge plus!
