Job Description

This full-time Special Education opportunity offers a contract position serving students in grades K-12 within a Greenville, MI school setting. The role begins on August 14, 2025, with interviews underway immediately. Professionals with appropriate Michigan teaching licenses and endorsements are encouraged to apply for one of four openings focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Emotional Impairment (EI).

Available Positions:

• High School ASD Teacher (must hold Autism Spectrum Endorsement)
• Elementary EI Teacher (must hold Emotional Impairment Endorsement)
• Secondary EI Teacher (Middle and High School, must hold Emotional Impairment Endorsement)
• Elementary ASD Teacher (must hold Autism Spectrum Endorsement)

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan teaching license with required ASD or EI endorsements depending on position
• Previous teaching experience in special education preferred
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners in academic and social-emotional growth
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Emotional Impairment, based on endorsement area
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
• Foster inclusive and supportive learning environments that empower students

Location and Hours:

• Greenville, Michigan
• Full-time schedule, 37.25 hours per week
• Contract position for the current school year
