Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Manager/Production Manager to oversee and optimize the fabrication processes of our premier client in Griffin, GA . This role is critical in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining compliance with safety standards and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the fabrication team, ensuring alignment with production goals and quality standards.
• Develop and implement fabrication strategies that enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Monitor and analyze production metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide input on product design for manufacturability.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth.
• Manage the budget for the fabrication department and optimize resource allocation.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing management, with a proven track record of improving operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and technologies.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Preferred:

• Experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of CAD software and its application in fabrication.
• Relevant certifications in manufacturing or project management.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

• Proficiency in manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Understanding of CNC machining and welding processes.
• Familiarity with quality control methodologies and compliance standards.
