MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As an Ecuadorian Analyst, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of social media program in Tampa, FL. You will play a crucial role in serving as a natively fluent language specialist, with a cultural background in Ecuador. Preferred candidate will have the ability to read/write in a Spanish dialect native to specified area. Ability to read and write in any indigenous languages like Quechua (also known as Kichwa) and Shuar are a plus

  • Develops and maintains expertise with designated regional issues and draws upon publicly available online information resources.
  • Reads, analyzes, and drafts communications regarding regional and ideological discussions in specified foreign language media environments.
  • Examines current media statements or postings to support trend analysis and identifies key communicators.
  • Demonstrates reading and writing expertise in the assigned language and incorporates custom social media solutions to comprehend online environments and communicate trends effectively.
  • Supports operations planning.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of online social media and different technologies, and documents activities, notes, informative papers, or whitepapers written in English.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science; extensive experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience
  • Security clearance level: Minimum DoD Secret clearance required
  • Role requirements: Some travel may be required. Select candidates will be language-tested.

The likely salary range for this position is $77,350 - $104,650. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
