This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Cloud Development Engineer Intern in Menlo Park, CA.

• Build cloud services through prototyping, implementation, testing, and launch.
• Support in designing the architecture and infrastructure for features that connect cloud, embedded, and mobile components, comparing various options and identifying uncertain areas.
• Analyze issues and identify improvement opportunities to steer the product roadmap, and work on the ongoing performance and reliability of our cloud services.
• Collaborate with other functions, like QA, product and partnership managers, as well as engineers from partner companies and suppliers, to jointly optimize our product experience.
• Support solutions for our continuous integration/continuous delivery environment.

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience with modern programming languages (Go preferred), infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), CI pipelines (Gitlab CI preferred), and monitoring (Datadog preferred).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills to write scalable, well tested and clean code and have a good understanding of object-oriented development and other software development principles.
• Knowledge of web and IoT technologies and protocols, such as RESTful APIs, OAUTH, and
• Effective communicator and a team player

Pay Rate: $27 - $35 per hour (based on year of study)

This internship could lead to an at will full-time role in Signify.
