Job Title: Apprentice Electrician
Job Description

We are seeking 30 dedicated electrical laborers to contribute to the electrical portion of a solar project. This role involves installing solar panels, running conduit both underground and above ground, and performing various labor tasks such as shoveling and pulling wire.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels as part of the project.
• Run conduit underground and perform above ground wiring.
• Execute labor-intensive tasks such as shoveling and pulling wire.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of solar electrical experience within the last 3 years.
• Current Michigan Apprentice Card.
• Proficiency in electrical work, conduit installation, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with blueprints, schematics, and industrial electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred: OSHA 10 certification.
• Experience in conduit bending and pipe bending.
• Flexibility to perform both electrical and non-electrical tasks.

Work Environment

The work is conducted outdoors at a solar project in Milan, MI, with a new construction environment. Employees work six 6-hour shifts from Monday to Saturday, starting at 7 AM, with three breaks each day. Safety is prioritized with morning safety talks, and appropriate work clothing is required, including steel-toe boots, with no shorts or tank tops allowed.

This is a Contract position based out of Milan, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
